Thank you for sending this out. I will add this organization to my prayers and support.
I guess it could also mean the sun was bright that day. lol
Far too many American Christians don't want to know about the filthy fallen world we live in, nor about the truly poor souls who need God's grace just the same as we do. I don't know what you think is so misguided about posting this story. Perhaps it interrupts your self-imposed illusion that everything is clean and shiny and God lives in nice old churches with stained-glass windows and the proper color of carpet in the sanctuary.
There are so many worthy organizations that do great work in hellholes around the world. GFA is one. Another is As Our Own in India, and also World Vision worldwide.
I see those in America. Bag flags. Just not as often.
Why are you pinging me?
Given our immigration and illegal alien numbers it would seem that not too many people are buying that nonsense and it is probably good that those who do won’t try to come here.
Thanks for the research.
Sorry. I must have mistaken you for a Christian defender type.
Wow, that sounds like an attack out of the blue, are we in some conversation somewhere that I don’t know about?
Worked with a physician from India for many years - he used to say the only thing needed to clean up Calcutta was an atomic bomb.....
There is something fundamentally wrong with a culture that hasnt figured out by now, or ignores the fact that drinking, bathing, and washing clothes in the worlds largest open sewer might not be the best idea. I haven’t been to India but have to countries like it with grinding poverty, so that now the smell of a broken municipal sewer line brings back a rush of fond memories of the “third world”.
Sorry, seriously. I pinged you as one who was on this thread in response to the comment. "You are a misguided Christian - get help!, by a poster named mikeIII, and i thought i had seen post by you someplace before that indicated to me that you were such a one as might be interested in such a comment. Then when you asked me what i was pinging, i though you were irritated and maybe i had pinged the wrong person.
In any case, i never got the answer as to why posting this article or my comments made me a misguided Christian, though it may fit my understanding reasons behind a reply.
I see a bag that has been blown into a tree occasionally too but my friend said in India there were areas where there were hundreds and hundreds of the white plastic bags caught up in trees.
it will all change after the next election

Really? What about voting fraud?
Unless people begin to wake up here in the U.S., coming to a city near you (Detroit, New York, New Orleans, etc.)
This kind of thing goes viral on the Internet, as “high-minded” western Christian ideology, and the next thing you know, there is a backlash toward Christianity and Christians, from Pakistan to Syria to Egypt to Nigeria to Kenya. Hate to see this happen to the millions of Christians in India.
What is my intent? You mean you do not read?
I came across and felt i should post it so that we may realized how blessed we are to have been born here, not only due to the material aspects but with so much of a foundation of Christian principles and precepts.
Whether you like it or not, while you object to to this "filth" being on your computer screen, where you choose to look at it, and denigrate a Christian for posting it, is what multitudes live in, and even consume to some degree, and i think it does us good to be aware of it, and the underlying causes for it, and spiritual need.

So you are one of those "don't make waves" types, who counsels avoiding exposing the results of spiritual darkness, and in contrast to our conditions (which can change), and giving a call for compassion, because it may bring a backlash. (Even though the page is 3 years old.) Sorry, but you have the wrong religion, and forum.
If you are the type of traveler who wants to be protected in your cocoon, don’t go to India. If you enjoy stimulation (good and bad) and interesting sights...go to India. You won’t regret the trip.
