Anyway, got Kugle in the oven and
onion soup in the slow cooker.sounds good ..(& smell good) even from cKY. ;-)...
wish I could find some Burgoo....Yummy.

I had to Bing “Burgoo” as even though I’ve done a lot of cooking over the years, have never heard of it (appears to be a KY and part of IL thing). Here’s a recipe for Kentucky Burgoo that uses store bought meat (pork,beef, chicken) as opposed to “wild” meat (squirrel, possum, road kill, etc.). This recipe is supposed to take about 15 min to prep and 3 hrs to cook. There are variations in the comments
