While I’m all for killing Al Kiy-da wherever we find them, we aren’t Iraq’s policemen, either. Nor Afghanistan’s...
Unless our troops are allowed to shock and awe the *BEEP* out of them, we’ll wind up putting our people in harm’s way to what end? To make it look like we’re doing something? To ensure the UN isn’t troubled by our “meanness”? The political correctness imposed on the military by ridiculous rules of engagement and second-guessing and prosecution of actions that take place in the fog and horror of battle so politicians back home aren’t “embarrassed” has killed and wounded so many of our heroes.
Top that of with both parties now screwing over active duty and retired commissaries, health care and pensions to save a buck or two while letting welfare frauds and cheats who won’t work keep their stash leaves me in the mood to want to tell McCain and his boyfriend Linda to stuff it where the sun doesn’t shine!
