Humboldt County man arrested in slaying of Eureka priest

A Humboldt County man was arrested Thursday afternoon in connection with the New Year's Day slaying of a popular Roman Catholic priest in the small Northern California town of Eureka.

Gary Lee Bullock, 43, was arrested in southern Humboldt County...

The perp was acting in an odd manner and had recently been in police custody for that. They released him and shortly thereafter he broke in and killed the priest. To imply anything else will get this thread removed as others have been.

Apparently theft, as the perp was caught drunk and with the victim’s car. Read the article.

The perp was 5150 but for some reason he didn’t get committed. He broke into the Rectory and killed the Priest. I suspect he wanted his car.

Bullock reportedly told the officer that he was looking for “HRC.”

I wonder why he was looking for Hillary? At a Catholic at that.
