Dutch BDS Twitter Account Using Image of Anne Frank in Keffiyeh
A Twitter account belonging to “@BDSAmsterdam“ is using an outrageous image of Anne Frank dressed in a red keffiyeh, Israeli daily Ma’ariv reported on Thursday.
As part of an ongoing campaign to portray Israel as an apartheid state, a Netherlands-based branch of the anti-Israel BDS (‘Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions’) movement, which tweets from the handle, is warping the iconic image of one of the most discussed Jewish victims of the Holocaust in order to forward its political aims, Ma’ariv said.
An active Twitter page, @BDS Amsterdam is refreshed every few hours. A tweet from Wednesday enlightened readers as to, “the updated list of all 2013 Israeli cultural boycott events for 2013.” The posting also included information about all the artists who had decided to not perform in Israel over the last year as a protest against the Jewish state.
Reacting to the backlash provoked by the cynical use of Anne Frank’s image, @BDSAmsterdam had this to tweet: “Boycotts and sanctions against Israel are how we respond to war criminals who use the Holocaust to justify their crimes.”
When confronted on Twitter about the offensive image by iconic comedian Roseanne Barr, the account said,”Gaza is full of Anne Franks.” The account also claimed that, “Gaza is the world’s biggest concentration camp.”
According to the Legal Insurrection news site, the BDS movement is trying to turn, “decades of [Arab] rejectionism and terrorism, long before Israel reclaimed the West Bank [Judea and Samaria] from illegal Jordanian occupation, into a narrative of Israel being like the Nazis.”
They’d use child porn to get eyeballs if they believed they could get away with it.

Sounds like Roseanne was confronting the people who posted the image. Could it be that she’s actually on the right side of this one?
On some of the ruder Internet sites, some individuals have taken to intentionally confusing Anne Frank with Helen Keller.
Others insist that Anne Frank was Hitler and Eva Braun’s out-of-control illegitimate daughter, who ran off to Amsterdam to embarrass her parents, living in a artists’ loft and working as a prostitute.
The Internet can be a crude place.
The Dutch will know soon enough what life was like for Anne Frank.
