At any rate, I am a conservative gun enthusiast and gun owner that will have nothing to do with the NRA. It has nothing to do with their politics, but it has everything to do with their business practices. The NRA will give your email address to hundreds of spamming companies and those companies will send you unsolicited and unwanted products accompanied by a bill with the NRA proudly endorsing the unwanted and unrequested product... I have been a Life Member since the late 1970s and have never received any of this spam. I have no idea why your experience is so different from mine, but I suspect the spam comes from some other source than the NRA.
Same experience with spam here, absolutely none, email or snail mail since the mid eighties. It might have to do with no annual membership signups?
This is the second time I have seen a FReeper claim that the NRA was spamming him or selling his email and address.
Tempted to call BS, but you never know how the address might have been leaked.
