I believe that if gays did what regular folks do, keep their private business private, we wouldn’t be having these issues. But they insist on throwing their dirt in everyone’s faces in an effort to feel normal. A shrink would be helpful in most cases.
I agree.
I look at it like this: Chip Coffey is a psychic, been on a few episodes of Paranormal State. He’s gay. I think he mentioned it like a couple times on his Facebook page. Ryan Buell from that show is bisexual. He mentioned it once in his blog, and hasn’t addressed it since. Jim Parsons is gay, but he just goes about his business.
Clay Aiken and Ricky Martin I despise, because they make everything about being gay. I mean, at some point, its just, have some dignity guys. Zachery Quinto came out in an interview, he was asked are you gay, he said yes. And he then went on with other subjects, because where he puts his junk is not his sole focus. The only time he ever really talked about it was in an interview where they were asking him about a scene in American Horror Story, where his character was trying to get a lesbian to be straight. The actress is also lesbian in real life. The interviewer was all “how did that effect you as a gay man?” And he just talked about the scene without going into his sexuality, meanwhile, with clay Aiken, it would have been “well, as a gay man, it was difficult, because I’m gay. Did I mention I am gay?”
I realize this is rambling, but what I am trying to say us, I totally agree with you.
