If Bolshakov was a Soviet “spy”, he was a poor one since Soviet spies try to remain undetected. Soviet operatives/assets, on the other hand, can come out of their covert “closet” when necessary, esp. if they are not spies in the legal sense and are used as “cutouts” for communication purposes.

I don’t know whether I would trust anything Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says or writes. His record of being a leftwing nut precedes him, and it is a hard one to shake.

As for the “militaristic ideology” that gripped the US after WW2 - hey asswipe - if it wasn’t for that “militaristic ideology”, you’d be one of three things: speaking Japanese with a Boston accent; a collaborator with the Nazis (like you grandfather was), or in a communist gulag somewhere making friends with the local rat.

Or, in the alternative, you would have become a dedicated member of Komsomol, then the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. There is a totalitarian streak in the Kennedy family so being a chip off of some “old man relative “ wouldn’t be out of the question.

RE: “RFK was an extreme anticommunist.”

As I recall his 1968 campaign, he supported the unilateral withdrawal of USA troops from Vietnam and flashed the peace sign on national TV just minutes before he was shot.

I bashed JFK for inspiring the 1965 immigration act

that's 1965 , 1965
1965

that act alone changed immigration and demographics in America. before 1965 immigration to USA came from Europe. After that act immigration to the USA came from the 3rd world(mexico etc)

and that you say THAT is me bashing Reagan and being for socialism? fyi i Hate socialism , i hate 3rd world immigration and I admire Reagan(greatest president imo).
wow you are stark raving mad(typical for a democrat). lol point where i bashed Reagan? i never did

i hate socialism/government more than anything

What country did you come here from? You live here how long and you haven't bothered to learn English? Maybe you wouldn't still be on welfare, if you had a high school education.

Yet you call me too right wing.

RE: “...is there ANYONE under 60 who reads Rolling Stone?”

I think he's mocking the kids who began reading Rolling Stone in 1967, never stopped, and are now in their 60’s.

JFK was dead in 1965. Nixon, Clinton and Bush sold our country out to Communist China.

your marxist JFK wanted to open the border of the USA to all third world countries and what it wanted it got:

President John F. Kennedy’s immigration message to Congress on July 23, 1963, assailed the national origins quota system as having “no basis in either logic or reason.” He complained,

“It neither satisfies a national need nor accomplishes an international purpose. In an age of interdependence among nations, such a system is an anachronism for it discriminates among applicants for admission into the United States on the basis of the accident of birth.” (Kennedy, John F., Public Papers of the Presidents of the United States, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C., 1964, pp. 594-597.)

1965? Do you think a law like that just comes out of nowhere?

*“However, if there is one man who can take the most credit for the 1965 act, it is John F. Kennedy. Kennedy seems to have inherited the resentment his father Joseph felt as an outsider in Boston’s WASP aristocracy. He voted against the McCarran-Walter Act of 1952, and supported various refugee acts throughout the 1950s.

In 1958 he wrote a book, A Nation of Immigrants, which attacked the quota system as illogical and without purpose, and the book served as Kennedy’s blueprint for immigration reform after he became president in 1960. In the summer of 1963, Kennedy sent Congress a proposal calling for the elimination of the national origins quota system. He wanted immigrants admitted on the basis of family reunification and needed skills, without regard to national origin.

After his assassination in November, his brother Robert took up the cause of immigration reform, calling it JFK’s legacy. In the forward to a revised edition of A Nation of Immigrants, issued in 1964 to gain support for the new law, he wrote, “I know of no cause which President Kennedy championed more warmly than the improvement of our immigration policies.” Sold as a memorial to JFK, there was very little opposition to what became known as the Immigration Act of 1965.”*

JFK was a disaster for America, and Reagan despised the man as a Marxist. Reagan wrote a hand written letter to vice president Nixon saying that he was going to switch parties, and wanting permission to help Nixon defeat Kennedy.

Here are Reagan’s private thoughts on JFK-
“I do not include Kennedy’s acceptance speech because beneath the generalities I heard a frightening call to arms. Unfortunately he is a powerful speaker with an appeal to the emotions. He leaves little doubt that his idea of the “challenging new world” is one in which the Federal Govt. will grow bigger & do more and of course spend more. I know there must be some short sighted people in the Republican Party who will advise that the Republicans should try to “out liberal” him. In my opinion this would be fatal.”

””One last thought,— shouldn’t someone tag Mr. Kennedy’s bold new imaginative program with it’s proper age? Under the tousled boyish hair cut it is still old Karl Marx—first launched a century ago. There is nothing new in the idea of a Govt. being Big Brother to us all. Hitler called his “State Socialism” and way before him it was “benevolent monarchy.””

My view on the Kennedys is as follows: JFK wasn’t a bad president, except for the immigration proposals and the constant interventions overseas, as well as immoral personal conduct that the press helped him keep private; the Moon Race, the tax cuts, the anti-Soviet stance were all to his credit. RFK was not a bad AG - he stood up to and pounded the Mob, which must have infuriated them given his father’s past business partnership with them. What I find more irritating about them is the rewriting of history to make both men out to be the lonesome doves in a sea of militaristic nuts that they were not, i.e., in retrospect, whatever they thought was correct, despite the consequences of their actions. Thus, RFK becomes the Vietnam dove, but his brother started US involvement in the War and appointed the single worst public servant of all time, Robert McNamara, to conduct a remarkably botched strategy that killed hundreds of thousands and which amazingly, McNamara later tried to pin on others, including Nixon. JFK was rumored to have been assassinated by “some cabal of rich Texas right wing nuts in a city of Hate” whereas the truth is, as Jackie Kennedy ruefully said, “it was some silly little communist” AND that silly little communist had previously attempted to assassinate a leading right-winger in Dallas, Gen. Edwin Walker. Where were the wails of the press about the supposed “right-wing city of hate” when these events occurred? RFK was the big peace advocate who restrained the generals and the stupid LBJ at the time of the Cuban missile crisis yet the record shows that in private he was the leading edge advocate of a first strike against Cuba. Part of it is the suppurating “press” - Arthur Krock of the NY Times, for example, was supposedly on old Joe Kennedy’s payroll - in return for the payoffs (or even an invitation to a crab bake at Hyannis Port) keep writing positive stories about the sons! Part of it is that the true record is hidden - why are the JFK Oval Office tapes in the private possession of the JFK Library and its employees are the ones who transcribe them? Why have some of the tapes never been released? Are there racial or religious slurs on any of them? We will probably never know, the Kennedys have been adept at rewriting and rewiring history and are surrounded by a sea of acolytes who pretend to be historians and journalists.

"Despite the Cold War rhetoric of his campaign, JFK's greatest ambition as president was to break the militaristic ideology that has dominated our country since World War II."

Utter nonsense. Contrary to popular belief, he committed us to involvement with Vietnam, sanctioned the assassination of foreign leaders, and fully supported military overthrow of foreign governments...until he lost his nerve at Bay of Pigs, and left those men to die on the beach.
