Looks like Obama’s transfer of wealth form emergency services to big hospitals is well on its way.

Obamacare: we haven’t seen a gift that “keeps on giving” quite like this one since the discovery of syphilis.

Obama was on TV saying Firefighters would be affected if Zerocare didn't pass.
He didn't say what would happen to them if it were. So ya see, it's not his fault.

Best option is for all volunteer fire departments to draft up letters to His Arrogance and his appointed lackeys stating that they should just eat cat feces with a dirty fork and then seek treatment under CommieCare if the death panels should approve.

My daughter’s a paramedic and volunteers at a fire station on weekends. Fortunately she volunteers less than 30 hours a week, but several of the fire fighters in her station do 30 hours or more. If Congress doesn’t pass that bill, her station will close.

but if you aren't being paid, how can it possibly apply??? and again, if you already have insurance, how can it apply?
there are no time cards and no paycheck to show how much time you are there, and even if you are there over 30hours, how can they prove you aren't simply there drinking beer and shooting the breeze or washing you car etc?

They do clock her hours. When you’re in the EMT field, the hours accrued are needed for certification.
And believe me, when she’s there she’s working! :-)

true enough, but does she need to put in 30 hours a week to keep current? or can stop the clock when she has enough hours?
and again, if they already have insurance i fail to see how forcing them to have a second ins policy is legal, the law states you have to have ins, not that you have to have more than one policy
but it's not so much about insurance as it is about ruining the country

She keeps up her hours just volunteering weekends at the fire station, so much less than 30 hours per week. She has a full-time job at an ER, after all. ;-)
Yep, requiring a volunteer, who, like my daughter, may already have insurance, is dumb - but we ARE talking about Obama...

Congress should NOT do anything that helps Zerocare in any way, Period.
Asking Congress to help Zerocare will be an invitation to be blamed for ALL
of Zerocare. The Dems intend to do just that. It's the usual trap set by the RATs.
