less gifts
I put stuff in stockings for siblings and help parents but that’s about all of the “outside” gifts we give. The rest is for sons (one DIL) and grandchildren and each other.
But getting what “they” want is a sure winner.
Our daughter wanted a robotic vacuum - Roomba, so that is what she got. I got one for my wife and she loves it. Just program it, and it cleans the main area three times each week.
