Oh my goodness guys! I almost forgot!
It’s about the Rush Limbaugh children’s book, Rush Revere.
Yeah I ordered it though I was getting tired of all the adulation Rush has been putting in his show. But I figgered, okay, precious Kaitlyn is now 10 years old this month passed. She’s on the younger scale of his demographic but she’s bright.
This kid gets Christmas gifts showered on her like so many snowflakes, to include a Kindle and piles of clothes and games and everything.
Now I’m skeptical. I think Rush’s guy Snerdly manages to find callers who want to be on the air so desperately that they exaggerate the effects of this book on their children.
So I bought it and gave it to Kaitlyn.
First, if Rush or anyone associated with this program is reading this, I lie not, I am affiliated with no one, I do love Rush Limbaugh so there’s your fair and balanced.
Kaitlyn has gone nuts for this book folks, my knees go weak at how much she is loving that thing!
Her parents, yes very conservative but the sort who like to poke fun at Rush listeners, are astounded. She actually SHRIEKS in joy at certain parts of the book.
The very night she got that book, Christmas night, I asked her if she thought she would like the book. She whispered in my ear, “I saw ion the cover it was about time travel. I can’t wait to read it.”
“I can’t imagine my daughter reading a book written by Rush Limbaugh. And come on....RUSH REVERE? REALLY?”, my daughter snidely commented. Well it is cool as all get it, got to admit.
Kaitlyn reads that book in the car, she snuck outside during a big party of her father’s side of the family and was caught, in a picture, READING THE BOOK!
Okay, I got to stop but folks, folks, when was the last time your child read a school book peppered with shrieks of joy?
I’m convinced but don’t tell anybody I said so.
All I have is a “grand dog” but I’m thinking about buying it anyway.Great review Fish.!
Ordered for my seven year old granddaughter, in Chicago, and she absolutely loves it! She (it seems) reads at the level of a 12 year old.
I bought Rush’s book for a grandchild, too. But I am reading it first, what does that say about me? I work with 12 to 15 yr. olds @ school. Maybe I’ll buy a copy for my rm. bookshelves. Couldn’t hurt. At least they will look @ the pictures. LOL
Good to know.....I may order it for a couple of mine....if I can get them away from the videos! Thanksgiving I made a smarty remark about O and she said I should not do that....He’s our president.
