The problem with Wolf on Wall Street is you either love the film or hate it with a passion. Unfortunately, its Oscar chances didn't bode well when at a screening for the film for AMPAS members resulted in a pretty polarizing reaction--and given the average older age of AMPAS membership (around 63), that could result in this movie not getting that many Oscar nominations.
