FBI informants allowed to break the law astonishing 5,939 times last year

In business you have to spend money to make money and apparently in law enforcement, you have to allow crimes to catch criminals.

According to documents obtained by the Huffington Post in a Freedom of Information Act request, FBI agents authorized informants to break the law at least 5,939 times in 2012.

The bureau was mandated to supply the Justice Department with these statistics annually more than 10 years ago after it was revealed that mobster Whitey Bugler was a snitch - but the numbers were never made public until earlier this year, when USA Today made the first FOIA request for the documents.

The national newspaper requested every report since 2006, but FBI officials were only able to locate 2011's report - which showed that agents authorized 5,658 'otherwise illegal' activities that year.

The crimes range from bullying and selling drugs to planning robberies and agents authorize an average of 15 authorizations a day.

'It sounds like a lot, but you have to keep it in context,' Shawn Henry, a retired FBI employee who used to supervise criminal investigations, told USA Today. 'This is not done in a vacuum. It's not done randomly. It's not taken lightly.'

Yes. I noticed quite a few FReepers posting from the Daily Mail. I have added it to my favorities. They cover stories most of the US media won't touch.

The rip crew that killed BP Agent Brian Terry was there with DEA and FBI
assistance and approval to attack and kill a rival cartel's smuggling crew.

The DEA’s snitch had gotten out of Cartel favor by losing a load —it appeared he might lose info access. But if their snitch were able to steal a rival incoming load, then he’d be straight again with the Cartelistas and the DEA’s Intel might turn out OK.

So the DEA and Fibbers spilled the beans on the impending load to their criminal snitch, and at the rip Terry was killed.

If instead of a US cop dying, say, 20 poor Mexicans or mere US citizens were killed, do you REALLY think we’ ever had heard any of this...?

WE DO NOT MATTER TO THEM AND NEITHER DO THEIR OATHS.

We are lucky we ever heard about Brian Terry or Jaime Zapata. Serious efforts were made to keep those stories quiet.

I very rarely by a newspaper, but almost got one today.

Seattle Times:
Front page headline:

29 murders in Seattle this year
6 of them by Cops

I read the discover of the Zambada case and it was chilling —on a VERY regular basis the DEA was calling up the Sinaloa giving them running updates about exact particulars of impending enforcement actions down in Mexico territory controlled by the Sinaloa:

“Planes and guys will be patrolling in five days in sector xx and will be there for two days, so get your guys, gear and stuff out of there...

And the way it read both sides evolved this whole interface SOP infrastructure, as if in an invisible parallel universe.

I wonder what the number is for how many times the FBI employees broke the law. That could be astounding.

5,939 times. Obama’s marxist minions and racial hatemongers do that per week.

At least the FBI captures criminals while the Obama regime is the criminal.
