You are talking to a life-long conservative Republican who has always. . .ALWAYS been the first to shoot down such suggestions as self-destructive nonsense.
I've put my gun down and now I'm facing that possiblity as real. I am starting to scare myself because, for me, it is a measure of how close to the edge we have come as a nation.
I agree that we need a conservative third party like the Tea Party. The problem is the “Ross Perot” effect that it has. The only way to pull it off is to plant an alternate Dem candidate to diminish, weaken, and divide the Libs when they run Hillary. Anyone have any good ideas for a phony-counter candidate to run as a Lib against Hillary?
