We all started down the path to the “nanny state” when laws were not enforced to the fullest extent.

When we (the people) were indoctrinated by the liberal news and lying politicians that people always had some type of social malady that caused them to violate the laws of society.

I call it “the little Johnny theory” whereby no matter what the law is, along with the fact that little Johnny knew perfectly well that he was breaking the law, there was always some liberal shouting that we were being too harsh in his punishment. It didn’t matter if it were a home rule, state or federal rule, or any rule...it was never Johnny’s fault.

This syndrome accelerated drastically in the mid to late 60’s and now all laws (the Constitution too) are never enforced as written due to the blameless society we have created.

We have created a society in which the work ethic has mainly been destroyed, children are not allowed to work and gain experiences that will fuel their future advancements, criminals are coddled, politicians are elected solely on platforms that give “free stuff” and special rights to different colored skinned people while the white race is forced to pay for it in both money and liberty....and the list goes on and on and on.

This is not the America of the 50’s and we have come to the Rubicon of freedom and liberty. The next election in 2014 will determine whether we “sink or swim” in the waters of freedom, liberty, and life under the original Constitution our country was founded upon...not the new “living Constitution” based upon feelings and international laws.

Once we cross that river there is no turning back.

You have some very good points and for the most part I agree with them. For myself though I think the big turning point was the first ‘Gas Crunch’ and the asinine rule of ‘Drive 55’ as the national speed limit.

Why that particular instance is important I think is because it made nearly every adult in the U.S. a law breaker nearly everyday they drove to work. And it’s just a small thing too, but like a small stone can case an avalanche a bad law can cause a nation to start ignoring other laws and it just gets bigger and bigger.

And so here we are today...

An America a 1950’s or 60’s time traveler would barely comprehend and wonder ‘How did this all happen?’

Every election feels like “now or never.” It definitely felt like that in 2008 and 2012. But it’s not over until God says it’s over. From the beginning, America wouldn’t have survived but for God’s intervention. So it is now and I look for His miraculous help once more. Elections are not the deciding factor in America’s fate. The spiritual health and awakening of the American People are the keys to America’s future.
