Liberals have no problem mocking the bible and I doubt any of them actually READ it.

Doesn't matter whether or not Lefties have read the Bible, because NONE of them read it with understanding, 'rightly dividing the Word of God'.

To them, the entire Bible is a disjointed and incomprehensible mish-mash; each Book is a totally separate entity, with no context supplied from other Books, or sometimes, even other chapters of the same Book. To most, any single verse stands whole, in & of itself, no matter its context or even who is speaking: the nonsense of Job's "friends" is, to them, equally the "authoritative" Word of God as Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. Certainly, God commanded those words to be recorded; but they are the words and thoughts of pagans, recorded to teach us their errors as a warning to us; and to show Job's steadfastness in the face of their arguments and temptations.

They have no concept of non-linear chronicity, expecting it to read in chronological order, at least within Books and chapters.

They have no concept of viewpoint/perspective, such as Kings being Man's perspective of the WHAT of the historical events, while Chronicles is God's viewpoint of those events from His perspective, telling us, "WHY."

They have no concept of incremental or "unfolding" revelation, where there is not contradiction, but building. I also doubt that they have even heard of such a concept as exhausted prophecies vs unexhausted prophecies with minor*, but yet to come major, fulfillments; vs fully unfulfilled, yet to come prophecies. *Analogous to a 'type'.

They have NO idea the meaning of words that were translated; but they depend upon Webster as their authority as to the meaning of a passage; original language being 'irrelevant'. As for idiomatic phrases, or figures of speech, they are clueless enough in English, let alone in the Bible.

I could go on, but it is too depressing a way to spend Christmas Eve.

Merry Christmas, and I hope I neiother bored you, or also depressed you. ;-)
