The left-leaning journalism organization ProPublica says the only Obamacare deadline that matters is the one few are talking about: the recently extended January 10 deadline by which so-called Obamacare “enrollees” must make their first premium payment to officially activate their insurance plan.
No payment, no health coverage, notes ProPublica writer Charles Ornstein.
“There’s a huge caveat that isn’t getting much public attention,” says Ornstein. “For coverage to take effect on Jan. 1, enrollees must pay their first month’s premium on time.” Ornstein says this overlooked fact raises “the prospect that actual enrollment will be far lower than the figures HHS [Health and Human Services] is releasing.”

California and New York, two of the biggest Obamacare enrollment states, have yet to produce payment data.

The disaster stories of people who get sick or injured and THEN find out they have no coverage will play nicely into the 2014 elections.

Don't worry, by the time the 2014 elections roll around, this will be renamed GOPCARE anfd the Democrats led by Obama and the media will agree about what a bad law it is.

I’ve always felt it’s a given that the goal of Obamacare is to wreck the existing health insurance system. I wondered why the Democrat’s would think we’d let them do anything to fix what they were so obviously guilty of breaking.
I now believe that the goal is to get employers out of the equation. The private insurance companies will be left with only the few who can afford gold or platinum plans. We are then left with two large groups; the millions who are enrolling for Medicare and the millions who know the bottom rung plans aren’t worth paying for and have opted out of the system.
They allegedly created this whole mess to provide insurance for 30-35 million. They will then offer to change the requirements for enrollment into Medicare and you have most of the country on a single payer system.
After that it’s a small step to end private health insurance which only the evil rich can afford and they’re work is done!

We put 16.1 million men in uniform in the various armed services, invaded Africa, invaded Sicily and Italy, won the battle for the Atlantic, planned and executed D-Day, marched across the Pacific and Europe, developed the atomic bomb and ultimately conquered Japan and Germany.
It’s worth noting, that during the almost exact amount of time, the entire Obama administration couldn’t build a functioning web site.

I’ve repeatedly made that comparison; by early next year, I believe it will be credible to state that 0care will have:
-killed 3000 people,
-caused $100 bn in economic damage
-and shoved the country’s economic juices into a semi-hardened, gelatinous state.
I’m certain that the economic damage from the thing has been vast. I don’t know about the body count.
Most are signing up for Medicaid.
How is it possible that there are so many STUPID Democrats congressmen?
If the Republican congressmen could see this train wreck coming, how is it possible the RATS could not??
Did blind loyalty to obamma cause the Rats to go absolutely brain dead?
They have to pay for it?
