Something went wrong with this picture but if you are to browse for an E-8 you’ll see that J-10 is a copy of it, with some elements of F-16 added.
How can they call it a “super-modern” fighter platform?

Yep, it looks like a mix from the 70’s and 80’s
I am sure the electronics and stuff are more advanced than in those days though

Lots of claims out there as to being able to shoot down F-15s. In the real world, nobody I know of has managed it yet,,, not even once.

Indeed, Lavi is a 1980s model, while Mig is a 1962 design first flew in 1967.

The J-10 looks more like the Lavi to me. Keep in mind that the US doesn’t like to give Israel the latest and greatest in military tech because it ends up in Chinese hands many times.

. . . . nobody I know of has managed it yet,,, not even once!And F-15 the only aircraft that had a severed wing but the pilot managed to land the plane in one piece.
