Because the celebrity 1% are OBAMA CULTISTS, they are worshiped by the media.
ummm why would Target refuse to sell her CD?
That doesn’t make sense from a business standpoint- am I missing some clue here? (as is typical)
Surely, this will mean the end of Target! /sarc
Target may just want to skip Christmas after this year’s serial disasters.....
I don’t understand Target’s decision here. It’s like they are in a self-destruct mode.
Amazon Not Stocking New Beyonce CD Following iTunes Exclusive

Earlier this week, Target said it would not carry the new Beyonce album, which iTunes got a one week exclusive window to sell the 14-song, 17-video album and did so to the tune of more than 600,000 units in the U.S. for the first three-days of availability.
Target didnt want sloppy seconds...good for them
Whats a Beyonce? Isn’t that a dryer sheet? She and her spouse have gotten a little too big for their britches.
40k is a bit low on the “marketing money” scale. “We made an exclusive, but not really exclusive, and messed it up”. Sloppy business, sloppy handling. What’s going to happen for the next record, will it just skip bridges-burnt Target?
Target knows their customer base and also that Beyoncé’s fans shop at da dollar store.
Went by one today. Relatively few people inside, lines were short, and there was an additional 10% off everything in the store but certain selected premium electronics and the like.
Target’s bleeding bad.
Target apparently doesn’t want *customers*. They have had sequential stupidity and debacles this winter season, including one of the biggest credit card breaches in world history.
Shame, too. I always preferred Target over Walmart.
First though I do know who Beyonce is (a singer) I know nothing beyond that. Secondly I am not sure how this is news.
$37,500 isn’t a boatload of cash for Beyonce...or Sony...
$37,500 / 600,000 units sold through iTunes = .0625 cents per unit...
.0625 per sell is cheap marketing for the free exposure this will get...
I wonder how Wal- MArt will handle the requests from the Obamabots for the cards...
Makes me glad I didn’t take them up on the stupid debit card thing. Yeah... 5% discount is worth tying you to my bank account. Not.
Because the MSM would rather talk about pop culture than focus on hard news like the Obamacare disaster, NSA spying, IRS witch hunts, or Benghazi. Distractions, distractions, always with the distractions.
It was purely a business decision. Target decided to delay and possibly not sell the album at all because they knew they would not make money off of it right away, or possibly ever. The album will be sold mostly through iTunes. Other stores have elected to sell the album, knowing that there is no money to be made.
