I lived in Oregon for many years

I had no idea. I guess "something" inspired me to post it on your thread. :)

Even though Oregon has a reputation for being one of the most unchurched states in the US, it also has a very vibrant and alive Christian community. And the others there have a “live and let live” attitude.

But although I was there about 40 years, I’m now in Tulsa - and right in the Bible Belt. There is a difference in the cultures of Oregon to Oklahoma - but while the greater majority in Oklahoma accept Christianity implicitly - there is a great degree of superficiality to it here, I find.
