Yesterday, authorities announced that four men had been arrested in the fatal carjacking of a NJ lawyer who had finished shopping at a mall. Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray credited “good old-fashioned police work,” using tips, forensic evidence and the power of local, state and federal authorities. And it turns out that one of the suspects was caught because the vehicle used to drive to the mall was his mother’s car. […]
The suspects, who face charges of felony murder carjacking conspiracy and weapons possession, are Karif Ford, 31; Basim Henry, 32; Kevin Roberts, 35; all of Newark; and Hanif Thompson, 29, of Irvington. If you have ever noticed, this is the typical “wolfpack” behavior of black males. They drove around the mall for a long time looking for a victim, just like a wolfpack.
Then, they find a lone white guy with his wife who is unarmed and can’t defend himself. Then, at just the perfect moment for a kill, they do! Like a wolf too, they exhibit fatal DNA here created over centuries that the ONLY cure for is to be shot. (Notice many pet wolves around?????)
That they went quietly, timidly and cowardly when confronted by real men with real guns who could, would and would love to do them great bodily harm instantaneously does not surprise me at all.
In these guys case, death by injection is too good not that Jersey executes people. Life in solitary confinement without so much as a magazine to look at seems better! If that’s torture you fng liberals, GOOD!

I hear what you are saying, but everybody in the NJ/NY knew these would be black guys, it would be news only if they were of another race.
I don’t know who thinks they are fooling whom, because nobody I know is being fooled and that most especially includes black people. Oh, wait, maybe I figured it out, white liberals are fooling one another - good luck with that.
Did it disappear when one of his homies went all Bait Car on it?
Has President Obama taken time from his tropical island vacation to comment on this case like he did in other cases?
If not, why not?

Another aspect of this horrifying story that I wish the media would cover is what exactly these four thugs were planning to do with the 70K Range Rover. I doubt that they were going to take turns driving it to midnight basketball games. Quite likely there was someone in Newark or thereabouts waiting to give these guys a couple of grand and ship the vehicle to the Middle East or Africa, where there is a well-established market for stolen American SUVs.
This is where a death penalty would be useful. The threat of execution would most likely yield information that might help reduce the market for these stolen high-end vehicles.
Has President Obama taken time from his tropical island vacation to comment on this case like he did in other cases?
If not, why not?
The "victims," in his view, could have been his sons.
Before the police sprain something patting themselves on the back, lets see the rap sheets for these murderers. Chances are excellent they should have been locked up somewhere instead of preying on decent citizens.
If they have a long rap sheet the police have done their jobs multiple times. They arrest people and investigation - they don’t sentence people and most police are highly frustrated by the revolving door court system that continues to give scum like this more chances to harm society.
This was good police work - now let’s see what the courts do.
It will be interesting to see what I stir up there, as there seems to be a definite liberal subset in the comments section. Just for the halibut, I wrote:

Therein lies the problem. If the judicial system did its job, these people would still be in jail. Instead, they repeatedly dump these feral humans back onto society until they take one of more lives and THEN are reined in. In some cases the citizen with a CCW has to do their job for them - and get vilified in the process.
While the victims names, and the perps (if they are found) are reported, what also needs to be reported are the names of the parole board members who let them out, the judges who gave them a lesser sentence, and the DAs, who let them plea bargain a higher crime down to a lesser one ‘to save the court’s time’. These people work in the shadows and are able to get away with this stuff because of that anonymity - a little light on them might cause some rethinking.
Now THERE’s a subject worthy of a little investigative journalism. Does any of that remain in the Fourth Estate?”
The only comment Obama would make is that a Gun was used in the Crime and that we need more Gun Control to stop such violence.
About 5 years ago in Charlotte, NC, a friend’s husband’s brand new Mercedes was stolen from their driveway. The police said it was probably in a shipping container within minutes of being stolen.
There is no death penalty allowed in NJ.
You are correct. Keeping people behind bars protects the innocent. One has to wonder why some of the perps were released.
I think these four bad boys need to be released immediately, placed in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean in inner tubes with heavy chummed waters. Let them feel the terror of knowing they are about to be eaten.
But let’s spy on Tea Party and Conservative people...They’re the real threat!/s
