A federal court on Friday granted almost 200 evangelical ministries relief from the Affordable Care Act’s so-called birth control mandate. The ruling by the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma is the latest in a series of legal blows to the healthcare law’s requirement that workers be offered contraception as part of their employers' insurance coverage.

As it is, Obamacare itself will bring itself down by the sheer weight and ineptitude contained in it. It can die a natural death, and the responsibility will rest directly on Obama’s shoulders and those of his Leftie cohorts. Made a lot of sense to me.

Maybe. If he had done his job as the constitution dictates there would probably still be a plurality that supported government healthcare. As it is now, if they throw it out next year they will be heroes.

It should not just be ministries or organizations. We have individual liberty.
The individual should not be forced to contribute to an insurance company that provides any service that is contrary to the individuals religious beliefs.

I personally can’t forget or forgive the catastrophes that have hurt many people, companies, churches, etc. in the intervening period btwn birth and death of Obamacare. A lot of pain and death has been caused all in the interest of political advantage. None of that should have happened and the Democrats deserve not one single more vote EVER for causing this drek to happen!
If he was being pressured, he may have taken some satisfaction with the knowledge that the door was opening like this.

Completely correct. I come at it the same way. I’m not religious but I do have some strong beliefs and I shouldn’t be forced to buy a product that violate those beliefs.
I’m livid about ObamaCare, too.
