Superstar MARIAH CAREY has come under fire from human rights campaigners after performing for Angola's president JOSE EDUARDO DOS SANTOS last weekend (14-15Dec13).
The Hero hitmaker was reportedly paid over $1 million for a two-hour concert on Sunday (15Dec13) at a gala for the Angolan Red Cross, which was sponsored by bosses at mobile phone company Unitel and attended by the president.
The politician's daughter, Isabel, owns Unitel and is the head of the Angolan Red Cross.
Addressing the crowd at the event, Carey reportedly said, "I am happy to be here in this room and I am honored to share this show with the President of Angola."

I'll bet she's a Hussein fan.
When does she perform for Kim Jong-Un?
Would you ask the same question of Rush Limbaugh or the Duck Dynasty or any other wealthy conservative?
I could care less what celebrities do or how they spend their money. I just wish they’d realize that having musical or acting talent doesn’t mean anyone gives a flip about what they think about anything.
I would not be reading anything like this when it comes to Rush and the Robertson Family. They do not perform for Third World Dictators especially for a small 1 Million dollars.
Why would he pay a million dollars to be tortured?
LOL!
Ooh, ooh, I know: Just before she is machine-gunned.
(That was a trick question, right?)
Hey, the dude likes hot skanky chicks. He can’t help that.
Enough money? You can’t be serious. There is never enough, only more.
Or maybe she's pregnant?
I would not be reading anything like this when it comes to Rush

You’re absolutely right.
Rush is the payor not the payee in this example: see the million dollars Rush paid Elton John (liberal, pro abort, gay activist) to sing at Rush’s 3rd wedding.
