I expected the family to back Phil. I am glad I was right about them. I will miss the show and the family but not A&E.
IMO those were not casually chosen words. They're going to fight. :-)

The Robertsons don’t need A&E. The family business was worth a bundle before A&E discovered them.
I wonder if Phil is ready to walk away. He must know the increased temptations that fame will put on the younger members of his family.

And yet, Oprah says she wants White people to die. Kanye West b!tches and moans about Jews being “well-connected”(OY VAY! I wish. I should only be so lucky!) But Phil Robertson is the hater. NAAH, no double standards here.
It will be interesting to see what Walmart does, once the entire family comes out with the same views.
I hope & pray that they indeed not only stand their ground, but walk. As in away. 100%.
But I do believe that they will pray, seek God’s will, and follow Him.
They know they need God every day in their lives. And they don’t need A&E.
God blessed them unimaginably before A&E - and they know He is all they need - after A&E. All our relationships here with any organization are temporary.........especially ones that are not Christian in purpose....
A&E doesn’t understand this culture. First they insulted the patriarch by implying he didn’t have freedom of speech when he wasn’t being filmed for their show. Secondly, they ‘suspended’ him like some dang 8yr old elementary kid. In doing so they insulted the whole family. The family is now honor bound to be ‘done with’ A&E. Barring an outright apology from A&E I don’t see DD continuing.
I would have been shocked had the family continued with the show.
Now is the time that we should use our economic power over these media company bootlickers and panderers

It means that Duck Dynasty can film their show on any channel, just change the name of the show and move on.
