Glenn Beck is talking about bringing Duck Dynasty onto his Blaze online TV channel. If A&E drops Duck Dynasty and Glenn Beck picks it up, he’ll have enough subscribers to rival any cable channel.
Good for them! I’m overjoyed! It’s going to be interesting to see what A&E does. But I don’t there’s any way they’ll fold.
The gorilla in the living room no one is mentioning—unless I missed it—is that cable TV is overrun with inane reality shows, whether it’s Duck Dyansty (and I’ve heard this one has good points), Finding Bigfoot (ugh!), Pawn Stars, Real Wives of [anyplace] etc.etc. Now there’s even a show on Discover called Naked and Afraid. They put two naked people (man and woman)in the middle of some jungle and see if they can survive for 3 weeks. Ever since there was a writers’ strike, networks discovered that “reality” shows were cheap moneymakers that needed little scripwriting. Now there’s just too much of it.
“Dynasty” not “Dyansty.”
Overnight, The Blaze will become as big as Fox. I'm sensing divine providence at work. We'll see.
I thought the same. I used to have FNC on as background all the time and would only switch to watch Fox Business.
I don’t even visit the FNC website more than 1-2x/year. We cut the sat TV in 2008. We get all the news we need from FR, Drudge, The Telegraph, The Daily Mail and a weekly or bi-weekly look at a few other sites. There are plenty of streaming sites with up to the minute stock prices, et al. Weather is also available at a click.
FNC is just another addiction to junk news. We are probably even better informed without it and we certainly are better off for not having our blood pressure raised by !ALERT! every few seconds.
It’s on the chopping block, be gone by the end of the year...
Thank you very much..... Hope yer well, Merry Christmas !
Stay Safe !
I cancelled my cable 4 years ago, but it didn’t help, FagTV is still there.
