Losing millions of men made the Nazis a little more accepting of less than perfect Aryan types. By the last years of the war I don’t think they cared who fought for them.

Why are we judging the Palestinians on just their association with the Nazis? They have allied themselves with every loser on the world scene over the past 70 years. Other pals of theirs include:
The Soviet Union during the Cold War years
Nicolae Ceausescu
Red China during the Tienanmen demonstrations
Saddam Hussein
Al Qaeda

No surprise. Mein Kampf is today a best seller in Arab countries. Non Arab too, like Bangladesh. Was admired in the 1930s too by Arab nationalists. It is a fine model for an autocratic, antisemitic state.

Nobody puts women in combat except when their back is against the wall. Women were in combat in Israel in 1948, because they could hold a gun and squeeze a trigger, and that was vital right then. Now, however, they’re mostly in logistics and technical stuff in the IDF. Same thing in Russia during the siege of Leningrad, now Petrograd once more.
