Al Sharpton previewed his radio interview with First Lady Michelle Obama on his MSNBC show Wednesday afternoon. In the short clips, the first lady defended the Affordable Care Act by offering personal stories about when she and other women she has met have benefited from access to health care.
Sharpton remarked that Michelle Obama is able to bring a passion and a perspective to the issue that transcends the partisan bickering of both Washington and talk radio.
After telling the story of a mother who cried herself to sleep at night because her son was diagnosed with cancer and she didnt know how she would pay for the treatment, Obama told Sharpton, Thats the kind of personal story thats often missed in that back and forth. She noted that its easy to confuse an issue like health care that should be fairly plain and simple.
Sharpton took the first ladys relatively benign comments to the next level rhetorically by accusing Republicans of trying to confuse the issue by smearing the navigators and trying to scare young people out of buying insurance. Like the first lady said, he concluded, this is a simple issue. Its about taking care of our fellow Americans and putting people before politics.
She also said that Health Care is confusing and Americans are confused.
Tell that to the hundreds who PAID for their insurance before Obamacare who can’t keep the doctors who have been saving their lives, Michelle, you lying b*tch!
Besides, if I'm forced into obamacare I am going to go from one of the people that can help others out on occasion to one of the people needing other peoples' help.
No they don't. There are no benefits from Obamacare except to the enemies of America. Either the Wookie knows this or she is too stupid to understand anything except her own shrieking.
I vote for the latter.
Back and Forth, and Back and Forth, and Back and Forth
Kennedy's bill(law after passing) carved out an exemption from state insurance regulators over health insurance laws. "HMO's were no longer under the oversight of state insurance regulators. HMO's and PPO's are NOT INSURANCE POLICIES!. They are contracts between parties. The first party (the HMO) is in total control of all decisions over what services may be allowed to the second party (the person). This was in exchange for a small insignifigant $2 copay. The medical industry called these people the $2 buckers. The very low premiums (at first) were 100% paid by mostly large and midsized employers.
The government utopian healthcare blood-suckers sat back to watch the frog slowly cook. Only a degree or two per year went un-noticed by the consumer and employers.
Fast forward 40 years and we're all in a frog stew under a pressure cooker, and now the whole scam is going to be a quasi-state run industry which controls people's lives at the governing level and guarantees GM style government protectionism to Insurance companies and their bottom lines for the frogs which ain't so tasty.
"Frog Stew", with a "Seared Liberty Chutney Sauce"

Sorry Moose. It’s my tax dollars that are getting lost in ObammyCare.
Sharpton should be in prison for incitement to riot, conspiracy, and manslaughter (Freddys Fashion Mart Massacre)
The domestic communist party is truly out of control
Americans are not confused about the fact that they have been lied to.
A poster here a couple of days ago said that hidden inside Obamacare’s thousands of pages is a provision that you won’t get coverage IF YOU ARE OUT OF YOUR COUNTY!!!
How many cancer patients are getting treatment in another state-—much less inside their county?
I live rural. There is only one hospital in this county- a small community hospital about 30 miles south of me. There are nofacilities there for things like cancer, etc.
If I go to Wal-Mart—35 miles east of me, I am in another county. IF I have heart attack there, I won’t get treatment???
What kind of nonsense is this?
What kind of impact will such rules have on the travel industry??
