The Secret Service is investigating, according to a spokesman for the agency, which safeguards the nation's payment systems.
Uh-oh. Must have been a network of hookers involved. The Secret Service has developed quite a reputation with those.

Truth is and the Secret Service knows, as does the FBI, as does our Military, as does all the alphabet agencies ... This story is the tip of the iceberg. What is not being said is worse. The Secret Service, the FBI, our Military, our Allies, all the alphabet agencies know where the problem lays. None of them have the balls to go arrest these people though. Would create a Constitutional Crisis. Many of the guilty walk within our government as elected because you cannot arrest anyone elected unless the elected deem it to be so. Am tired of the vicious circle of lies. Many of the guilty are in the White House and in our Congress. To say anything else is a total lie and the Secret Service knows this, as does the FBI, as does our Military, as does all the alphabet agencies and our Allies.
My apology for the rant .... There is only one truth. The truth is not unknown or in the gray. The truth is a know for this case. Nobody has the cagones though to create a Constitutional Crisis.

Do they encrypt the data?
If not then why not?

The Secret Service used to be an honorable outfit. But,under Obama, it is reduced to a gaggle of drunken, stumblebum goons. I no longer have any repect for them.

Never have shopped at Target after they denied Salvation Army Bell Ringers in front of their stores. In fact, have never set foot in one. Now I find out that is a blessing!

Just wait until the hackers make their move at healthcare.gov. Most likely they are already “in”, just waiting for enough accounts to be created to make it worth their while. Granted that at the rate people are signing up, “worth the hackers’ while” might be months away.

The same industry that fails to secure our data offers us identity protection insurance for $19.99 a month. I’d never own a debit card where they can get their hands on my money.
