Today Rush was selling the NSA’s propaganda that only “metadata” could be gathered, phone numbers but not content. Apparently, Rush is a mole, trying to sell “Big Government is your protector” bilge to conservatives. He didn’t mention that NSA agents were spying on spouses and lovers in their phone taps, so they certainly weren’t limited to phone numbers.
Don’t trust anyone who quotes Gen. Mukasey, who’s been peddling this line at Fox. God only knows what the NSA has on him.
