North Carolina Endorsement (Rand Paul email)
12/17/13 | Rand Paul

Posted on 12/17/2013 8:22:44 AM PST by cotton1706

When I won my primary for U.S. Senate in 2010, upsetting many in Washington, D.C., I began my speech that night by declaring, "We've come to take our government back."

Since that election, I've fought hard to stop the reckless spending, rein in our massive deficit, repeal ObamaCare and protect our God-given liberties.

But I'm only one man, and to truly take our government back, to truly pull Obama's radical agenda up by its roots, it's going to take more principled men and women who are willing to stand up and fight for our conservative values in Washington.

That's why I'm supporting Republican candidate Greg Brannon for U.S. Senate in North Carolina.

Greg's not a career politician. He's an OB-GYN who has delivered over 9,000 babies. He's been married to his wife, Jody, for 25 years, and together they've been blessed with seven children.

He believes that government should be limited, budgets should be balanced, and our God-given liberties must be protected.

But don't just take my word for it.

Read the letter from Greg and you'll see why conservatives from all across the nation should rally behind his campaign.

Campaigns like Greg's -- and mine in 2010 -- must run on grassroots support because he won't get money from the big shots.

So if at all possible, I hope you'll agree to make a generous contribution to help Greg Brannon fight for our conservative values in Washington.

Thank you in advance for joining me and supporting Greg Brannon for U.S. Senate.

In Liberty,

Senator Rand Paul

“We’ve come to take our government back.”

Senator Paul has endorsed mcconnell, that’s not how you take the government back, that’s how you keep us on the wrong track.

Anyone Mitch McConnell is for needs to be defeated by true Republicans.

Sounds like a good man. Anyone who has delivered 9,000 babies is due for a new line of work, and hey, he might just know something about healthcare. Hopefully enough to know the government has no business messing with it.

Just like Palin endorsed McLame over JD Hayworth

And Hatch.

Seems there are always inexplicable endorsements by conservatives that hurt other conservative candidate’s chance for a foothold. Favoring socialist Republicans like McCain and McConnell, and climbers like Hatch are inexplicable.

Collins and McCain have done untold damage.

At this stage Kay Hagan is singling out Tillis as the apparent one she is afraid of.
I'm not sure what the polls are showing but Tillis must be perceived to be the leader.

In the last poll I saw, Tillis trailed Hagan while Brannon LED Hagan.

I don’t trust these democrats not to pull a rope a dope like they did in Missouri last year. The democrats put out ads against Akin, and people fell for it and Akin ended up being the nominee while the Tea Party and Palin were behind Sarah Steelman and the establishment was behind the third guy (can’t remember his name).

We need to worry about nominating the best person for the job and not even look at who the democrat would like to go up against.

Moderate establishment types don’t beat democrats (see last November) because they don’t fight. Conservatives fight!

Brannon for Senate!

WHAT? I did not know that Rand Paul had already endorsed Mitch McConnell. Just Damn! Is there no one we can trust 100%? Where is Ronnie Reagan when you need him?

I wonder if Rand Paul is banned from sending RNC emails for a month after this.

Does NC have a primary runoff if the leader gets under 40%?

I think an open seat makes a difference as to when Paul endorses.
