Kathleen Sebelius went to bat for Obamacare navigators in an op-ed prior to a hearing led by Darrell Issa investigating the people designated to promote the health-care law as “navigators.” She accused the House Oversight Committee chairman of holding a field hearing in Dallas “designed to stifle, intimidate and impugn the reputation of people who have been working hard to help their fellow Texans get covered.” In the Dallas Morning News, Sebelius urged Republicans on the committee to stop “demonizing, demoralizing or deterring” navigators, praising the navigators for their efforts. I investigated becoming a navigator in Indiana.
The state requirements are pretty rigorous.
You have to take a college level course and pass an exam.
About a thousand bucks total.
To be a federal navigator you just have to be in SEIU, MoveON, or Organizing for America.

Tomorrow I will contact everyone in the House of OUR Representatives that their email will allow (usually constituents at least for the easy contact) and tell them that this PERSON is insulting the Rule of Law and she is long past to pay her just dues, via Congress, via a court of law, via something other than CONTINUING to LIE to us with her haughty impunity!

Licensed
Carry a million of E&O
8 hour required seminar
3 days online classes
Test, pass with 90% or better
Pay license fee, prove E&O coverage
Take on total liability for privacy
Compliance failure penalties can be up to 10’s of thousands of dollars and possible jail time.
Yes I believe when the Indiana legislature passed the regs, it was intended to make navigator similar to an insurance agent.
Quite a contrast to the federal goal of hiring folks to register Democrat voters.

Especially as he is using the power of the subpoena. No weasel words can get out of lying. Penalties, firings, impeachments, and jail become possible.
They are going to call out heavy hitters to attack Issa if he goes further. AND, they are not above physical violence.
