I sadly disagree. A third party won't do any better than the current GOPe, and will be just as corruptible.
Face it, we're soooo screwed.
Conservatives are a minority in a minority party, and while I keep hearing people say the United States is a conservative nation, there are way too many stupid people voting on emotion, and the leftists own the media, colleges, schools, and entertainment industries and use them collectively to get tweak the emotions of the stupid to get liberal democrats elected and drum out the vote from their ignorant but pliable underlings.
Meanwhile, thinking coservatives are too busy... Thinking. And then we have the Perfect conservatives who only vote for the Perfect Candidate. Like Diogenes of Siope, looking for an honest man...
There aren't any PERFECT candidates! ONLY what we HAVE. But that is enough for US to lose, and the worst candidate (Obama) WIN! Hey, the bright side! At least no Lefty RINO Mormon is running things!!!!
The whole 2012 election came down to the ground game and get-out-the-vote effort, and we lost on both counts.
I can't see the GOPe, a GOPc (c for conservative) or a third party doing better in national or key statewide elections unless that changes.
The GOPe is intent on political suicide. Throwing Obama a lifeline with immigration reform will ensure that they lose the 2014 midterms and divide the party to such an extent that a third party will emerge. In the meantime, Obama continues with his backdoor amnesty and creating his own immigration reform thru unconstitutional Executive Orders.
Yup. That is exactly what will happen.
I predict...
A third party of conservatives will abandon the Republican party.
However, it will not REPLACE the Republican party, but only DESTROY it.
The democrats will emerge even more triumphant than they were in 2008.
They will then look around, and do the things to make their ascendary permanent.
Goodbye America as we new it.
The perfect is indeed the enemy of the good.
Go ahead and doubt me, and I will beg you to be true! But it will not change what I predict.
“The whole 2012 election came down to the ground game and get-out-the-vote effort, and we lost on both counts.”
You are so right....I hope the the party leaders realize this as well. They also have to stop the fraud.
