How is this different than a “special agent” with the Federal Department of Eating walking into a restaurant and telling the management that the four tables on the left and the two along the back wall couldn’t be charged for their meals.
The very “special agent” then tells management that they can raise the price to other diners to make up for the loss. “But,” the “special agent” goes on to say, “I really would not advise you to do that.”
If an individual does not have the “right” to take something from a fellow citizen, neither does the government have that “right.”
The only way the government can afford to bail out the insurance companies, and thereby pay every American’s medical costs, is to raise taxes by an extraordinary amount — something that Congress would never agree to.
So, under ObamaCare, either the insurance companies will go bankrupt alone because their premiums are not sufficient to cover doctors and hospital services, or, if the government chooses to bail out the insurance companies without raising taxes, both the government and the insurance companies will go bankrupt together because the government won’t be able to cover bailing out the insurance companies.
The alternative to these horrors is simply repealing ObamaCare. However, Harry Reid will never allow that to happen until the situation is so dire he’ll have no alternative. So, it’s once more unto the breach, Republicans, but not yet.
