Thanks for the response YldStrk. Look, I went over the top, but I think it’s obvious that good people are going to be targeted by the evil one.
Getting us to blame God for not intervening, is one method Satan uses to discourage us.
If a person has already gone over the edge to rampant evil, bad things will happen to them too, but people more or less understand why. There isn’t the question, why them.
I don’t like seeing anyone doing through tough times. I don’t blame it on God though. God’s creations have free will. There’s a down side to that. Some creatures won’t chose to do right.
God could snuff them out, but then sooner or later as God snuffs people for lesser sins, the questions are raised. Why? Did they really deserve that. Sin leads to more sin. So yes, some innocent things may deserve more than we can know.
Only as sin plays out, do we see where it ultimately leads.
” obvious that good people are going to be targeted by the evil one.”
Yes I agree. This probably is the most compelling reason for evil done to the good.
“Getting us to blame God for not intervening, is one method Satan uses to discourage us.”
I agree with this also. Still I do get angry with God —after all He is in control because obviously I don’t have the wisdom to discern why.
There are some things I can’t figure out about God. I accept that over the thousands of years I will be able to approach and talk to Jesus, and all my questions will be answered.
I don’t sweat the day to day stuff all that much.
Oh - sorry. Thought this was a murder case.
Regardless. That pain is forgotten when the time comes. That is what I am trying to impress upon you.
