I'm grateful for small steps, but does anybody else see the problems with this?
In case "a madman decides to shoot up" the place, she can go outside, open the car, and get the gun?
Better than nothing, but still suboptimal.
Does she have to lock the car?
If so, the "madman" scenario is made worse. If not, then everybody and their brother knows that Alex's car has a gun in the glovebox or something.
Hers is a classic commuter conundrum. It’s similar to an issue faced by millions of military personnel and big factory workers that extend their “house rules” over their parking areas. If the military base is “gun free” except for MPs and maniacs, okay, but folks who live off-base are also disarmed on the way to and from base, which might be 25 miles over urban roads. UNF isn’t allowing her to “pack” on campus which would be better, but at least she’s not forced to also be disarmed on the way to and from the university campus.
Hey, YO! Izzie Baybbeeee!
I hear ya my friend. But EXACTLY that happened when a mudslime went bonkers at the law school in WV.
Two students, girl and guy, ran to their cars and fetched their weapons.
Held muhammer mudslime at bey till the cops arrived. Since they followed the “roolz,” no charges were FILED AGAINST THEM! (jeez louizzeee, how stupid.)
Yes, its a SMALL STEP. I agree with you, but hey, sometimes it does work out.
Piece in the parking lot is WAYYY better than NO PIECE at all.
LOL, They are young, and can run fast without a heart attack.
One foot in front of the other!
We’re in a situation similar to that of African Americans after the Brown V. Board of Education decision but before the 1968 Civil Rights Act. There are a lot of small steps to be taken before people who carry guns can be viewed as equals in the eyes of the law.
