The presence of a fake sign-language interpreter with mental health issues at the Nelson Mandela memorial service President Barack Obama attended in South Africa on Tuesday may have been the least of the security dangers at the event.
Thousands of members of the general public appear to have entered the 95,000-seat, open-air Johannesburg arena with no security screening whatsoever, local press accounts and foreign journalists who attended the ceremony said.
“I was shocked at the apparent lack of any real security measures, precautions or deterrents,” said reporter Scott Thuman of WJLA, a Washington TV station affiliated with POLITICO. “We entered the stadium along with a steady but manageable crowd of people through the main gates which were completely unattended. There were no workers performing bag checks or patdowns — there were no magnetometers to walk through, no metal detector wands being used — anywhere.”
Thuman said some people may have gone through security checks, but none were evident at the main entrance just before and during the speeches delivered by Obama and other world leaders.
Some analysts said Thursday that the security arrangements — ultimately the responsibility of the South African authorities, sounded so chaotic and haphazard that Obama should not have attended.
“You had a deadly cocktail here of a compressed security advance schedule and a security force that was clearly overwhelmed with the influx of political leaders and emotions surrounding the event,” said Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent who served on President George W. Bush’s protective detail. “I really don’t think the president should be going to these sorts of events unless there’s some guarantee that the domestic security force has a plan that’s operational and workable.”

A local talk radio host was talking about the Nick what’s his name buy obamacare commercial and was asking listeners for ideas on who obummer should hire for the next round of commercials. One caller suggested the signing guy because like obummer and his plans the signing guy was psychotic, dangerous, a liar and didn’t know what he was talking about.
What’s going on?
Were Secret Service agents were too busy hanging out in whore houses... or checking out Tea Party types who might be a within a few hundred miles?

What’s going on? The secret service couldn’t tell the difference between the liar in chief and the signing liar standing next to him. This psychotic upstaged the world’s biggest psychotic prima dona narcissist. I’m sure the kenyan is still in a snit over that. He probably wants the SS to take out the signer post-event for his impudence.

I have spent all morning on a DVD of George Thorogoods “Hand Jive” and been trying to dub Soweto Bob’s actions to it. I ain’t too good at this testiligol stuff but it would be hysterical. My GF got up at 3 AM and said what the F are you laughing at? I’ve tried to get his whole antics from all the speakers and dub the actions to the Kenyan’s speech, but as I said, I’m testiclelofically inept. If anybody out there would do it, be my guest.
