Nicolle Wallace played the quintessential DC insider on today's Morning Joe, proclaiming herself a "groupie" of both conservative Senator Tom Coburn and liberal partisan David Axelrod, while also saying she was "inspired" by Paul Ryan's leadership in forging a budget compromise deal.
But the Sooner senator wasn't letting the inside-the-Beltway bonhomie blunt his criticism, saying the budget deal "sells out" what needs to be done, and gives up "core values."

Coburn wasn’t buying Nicolle Wallace’s inside-the-Beltway bonhomie, and blasted the budget deal. Ping to Today show list.
BTW..her novel really sucked..
SO ... Senator Coburn and Representative Ryan ... WHY DO IT?!!!
If Axelrod, 0bama and Nicole Wallace like something, IT'S BAD! Duh.
wipe off your chin, Nicky...
Didn’t Wallace even have some quote a few weeks before the Obamacare rollout in which she was questioning ‘what’s so wrong about Obamacare?’ I swear, even without her long history of trash-talking Palin behind her back to curry favor with her elite media buds, coupled with her pro-amnesty and pro-homo marriage views... I cannot think of a more grotesquely repellent “establishment toady” than Nicole Wallace.
Coburn is just talking. He opposes a shutdown which is the only way to stop this deal.
I wonder if Corburn would be calling for a possible shutdown to stop this if we didnt already have a shutdown.
We will never know.
Not disagreeing or defending her, but I find that it helps to remember this how these people earn their living. Just like Al Sharpton is a professional racist, Nicolle Wallace and her ilk are professional toadies. The best thing we can do is ignore them, because once they lose their “charm” amongst viewers and readers, they disappear from the media scene. Which is why we seldom see libs like Ellis Hennican or Susan Estro...I mean Estrich these days.
Nicole Wallace—the Katie Couric/Bushie pal/shrew who was planted on Palin’s staff in 2008 to undermine her and try to throw the election to Obama.
(With Old Man McCain at the helm, of course, no undermining was required to give Obama the victory.)
She was always on the Dark Side.
She compliments them all...so they will return her call when she leaves a message.
