There have been threads too numerous to count on the subject of natural born citizenship, and whether Obama is one, etc.

Cruz had an American citizen mother, so he was born an American citizen.

As with any other issue, if Cruz runs, someone would have to file a lawsuit to try to block him. Many seem to think that if a court ever ruled, it would be to rule that Cruz is eligible to run for President.

I understand what you are saying, but, there doesn’t seem to be any clear legal consensus on what natural born citizen really means. During the primary season last time, some even questioned Rick Santorum’s eligibility, because his father was not an American citizen at the time of Rick’s birth.

It’s clear that an Arnold Schwarzenegger is not a natural born citizen, but not at all clear in the case of a Ted Cruz.

How can it not be clear? He was born in Canada. He was not naturally born in the United States of America. I don’t get how this can be unclear. NOT. BORN. IN. THE. UNITED STATES. PERIOD.
