A good Smith and Wesson revolver is as good as gold IMO. I could talk endlessly about them. The scandium aluminum J frames are the easiest guns to carry you’ll ever find. In a Galco outside the waist band holster, you’ll forget it’s there.

A model 14 combat master in .38 S&W with 158 gr. SJWC P+ and 4 inch barrel pak gripes. I know it’ old school but it always works and it’s like pointing your finger at a target. Also fits great in a shoulder rig when flying.

As a reloader, I wish S&W did not put the cylinder groove directly over the round. They are great with factory spec ammo but not great for more adventuristic loads.

That being said, they are my favorite guns to shoot.
