You will either die or get well, before you get to see the doctor.
It would be interesting to learn how many of these doctors voted for obammy.
Do you happen to know if they’re going to concierge care or something similar? My coverage ends in May and there isn’t the slightest chance I can buy at today’s rates.
You will either die or get well, before you get to see the doctor. “
People won’t be seeing a doctor. They will be seeing a nurse or a PA who is sitting in front of a computer, asks you questions, puts in the answers and out will pop your diagnosis, listing of meds and treatment regimen.
They’ll make an example of a few of those doctors (fines, jail time, loss of licenses), and the rest will fall back in line.
Another question - how do the other 30% stay in business? Are they more efficient, or are the 70% just lousy businessmen? Or, do the 30% “reuse” a lot of stuff not designed to be reused (very common in third world countries).
Forward!!
“You will either die or get well, before you get to see the doctor.”
Either way, it’s a big cost savings! See? ObamaCare will work!

The idiots who designed “Obamacare” run into yet another program-killing, and potentially Administration-killing, problem. Now blue-state Californians face an interesting conundrum: Whom do you trust: your longtime family doctor, or Barack Obama? When a federal program impacts at the local level like that, even the bluest of the blue think local. It may be the people responsible for actually providing the care who deal the death blow to “Obamacare.”
That’s great. Price always goes down when supply is reduced .... right?
I’m in Rockland County, NY. I asked my doctor at my last visit in November if he’d seen any impact yet. He went ballistic. And not just a little.
Great. Now how will the millions of illegal aliens get their free health care?
I do not equate 70% as a vast majority. 90% is a vast majority. 70% is more like a very healthy majority. :)
If 70% of doctors won’t participate in Obamacare, what percentage do you suppose will be available to service all the new Medicaid sign-ups...???
We could end up with a system similar to Mexico's (surprise). A tour guide in Juarez pointed out the State-run clinic/med school there, a grim concrete affair. Poor Mexicans could get free health care, from med students supervised by their instructors. If you ever had your hair cut at the barber college, you get the idea.
After completing their studies they had to work a few more years at the clinic before they could start their own practice. Needless to say, anyone with money went to a private doctor and paid cash.
Funny.
I had bronchitis last month and a friend wished me well “Oh, I hope you get better”.
“I’ll get better or die. Everyone does” I replied.
and that’s the way it was.....Before Doctors!!
Too Late Doc! You should have rebelled and ridiculed last year. Us Wacko Birds sounded the alarms, then our Tea Captains started to get called up for Obamas Punishment Audits.
For years now the self-proclaimed “efficiency” experts and the requirements that all medical records be in an online format from hell. Neither doctors nor nurses have sufficient time to spend with the patients and their noses are in the computers for three-quarters of the time you’re being examined. The patient might as well reign. I have not met one doctor who is anything but sickened and furious at how Congress has been irresponsible and stupid enought to pass ObamaCare a scheme that ruins the provision of healthcare for the patient and makes it impossible for doctors and nurses to practice good medicine.
