OK, so Elmer Fudd bypasses Congress. Why then do we need Congress? Presto, a $1 billion/year in salary, benefits, staff and facilities reduction.
Let’s not stop there. Eliminate lobbyists, the SCOTUS and a bunch of lawyers. But then, the unemployment rate and the crime rate will increase.

The reason people aren’t paid $15 per hour is because their job isn’t worth $15 per hour. Their work doesn’t produce enough profit to cover a $15 per hour salary.
