Peshawar, Peshawar police has detained the transgender and local courts send them to central prison Peshawar. According to detail the police they were involved in criminal activities and police charges them in 324 sections of PPC. Attempted murder/qatal e amd.is an intentional murder as defined in Sec 300 of PPCS although police didn’t recover any weapon from the transgender on the spot but they charged them in 324 sections. The Pakistan Penal Code usually called PPC is a penal code for all offences charged in Pakistan. It was originally prepared by Lord Macaulay with a great consultation in 1860 on the behalf of the Government of British India as the Indian Penal Code. After the partition of India in 1947, Pakistan inherited the same code and subsequently after several amendments by different governments, Police station Bhana Mari arrests the chocolate and Haseena from a local program, where they were performing as dancers. During program two different groups start fighting for chocolate and police arrest them and charged. Police show the detain transgender to the local magistrate and demand for one week more custody , but the local Magistrate refuses the application of police investigator and send them to central prison Peshawar for seven day judicial custody. After the punishment talks to the journalist Chocolate and Haseena namely transgender condemns the act of police and said that police arrest them in wrong charges, nor they recover weapons from us nor we involved any criminal’s acidity. Chocolate blamed the police that they take money from the groups and they charges us in 324, police want to give legality to their illegal act, that’s why they charge us in 324. We are only dancers. They blamed the Peshawar police that takes 18 thousand rupees from us also treat badly in a police station. Police sent them to central prison Peshawar after the sentence, the locals reached to a judicial Magistrate to see the trans genders in the courts. The president of the shemale (transgender) association Ms. Farzana who’s reached to a local court of Peshawar also condemned the act of Peshawar police and said that in Pukhtoon society everyone treat us like that we are not a human. He blamed the police additional sub inspector for taking money for the copy of the FIR. Ms. Farzana said that if we are not a human then people whose invite us for the program as dancers have no respects also ,because we are the dancers and the people whose sit to see us also in the same category.
