Most McDonald’s are locally owned DBA’s that have to put up an unborrowed $300,000 for the Franchise License. Then they must pay 4% of Revenue per month. The average franchise will not show a profit for three years. Doubling the Minimum wage will make that six years. What idiot is going to put up $300,000 and bust their ass for six years while everyone else gets paid for flipping burgers?
