Since this usually happens by thugs in groups, I have absolutely no problem keeping my eyes on a group of feral blacks. They are the ONLY group doing this, so when I see a group of blacks heading my way, I WILL be in ready-mode. Proactive response is more effective than reactive defense.

Yeah, some would label this a racist reaction, but it's not. They do tend to be violent in groups. It's not a matter of skin color, it's a matter of culture. Black culture fosters violence, and that is a stone cold fact. Ignoring the problem only makes it bigger.

In any case, even though it probably encourages more thuggery I would veer to the other side and hope they don't follow. At the very least I would be prepared to duck.
