Flashback 2005: McCain-Kennedy bill opens citizenship path (Boehner's Amnesty Czar cowrote bill)

Key senators yesterday announced that they will introduce a broad immigration overhaul with a multistep path to citizenship for illegal aliens and a new program for foreign workers that could increase yearly legal immigration by 400,000 people.

The bill — sponsored by Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican, and Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, Massachusetts Democrat — also calls for the government to produce a border security strategy, and encourages Mexico to crack down on immigrant smugglers and take steps to control its own borders.

Sponsors said it is not an amnesty because it would require illegal aliens to pay all regular fees as well as a $1,000 fine to join a guest-worker program and, after six years, another $1,000 fine to obtain a green card signifying legal permanent residence. Green card holders eventually can apply for citizenship.

“This bill is not amnesty. This bill does not provide a free pass to anyone. This bill does not give an automatic pardon to anyone. This bill does not put those that have been illegal that are here in the United States at the front of the line,” Mr. Kennedy said.

This is what you get when the spineless voters in Arizona fail to have a recall election to oust this cowardly America and Liberty hating scum.

The rats are in the food stocks (freedom and liberty) and are now eating it all up.

America’s unemployment rate is higher than any of our competitors.

America needs to build American businesses, and hire American workers.

Now.

Stop this immigration fiasco. We already have far too many AMERICANS who cannot find a job in the USA right now.

For an entire generation we have been sending US jobs to China, and every other country in the entire globe except RIGHT HERE AT HOME.

Stop it. No more immigrants. No more sending US jobs overseas. No more of any of this nonsense, until the US unemployment rate has fallen back below 5%.

(it is way, way, way over that right now)

HIRE AMERICANS.

The RINOs are at it again. Becky Tallents strategy was a failure, and now the RINOs will do it again.

The best amnesty, so called, is to get every undocumented wet back registerd, and then cherry pick the ones who we might want to stay , according to education, job skills. We also could allow amnesty through military service, make it official.

All those with pre-existing medical conditions ( hit the Obama Care angle of rapidly rising costs) or who have a felony record need to be deported. Its really that simple. And just as in Operation Wetback, once illegal aliens who cannot make the cut know about the guidelines, they will self deport.

I doubt Boehner’s amnesty Czar has any intention of doing anything like that.

Immigration Laws are to ptotect American Citizens. not Foreign Nationals.

If they brought kids with them, it is not my obligation to take care of them. If the kids were born here, they are foreign nationals, not citizens. Read the Constitution

At my workplace I had to deal as an apprentice with a couple communists who kept provoking me. I said nothing. I was still slapped by management with a “too quiet, lacks interpersonal skills” grade. So there you go. We are all so mean us peasants to not find gay jokes funny or communists cool.
