Palm Bay homeowner shoots, kills 2 men, police say

A Palm Bay homeowner says he shot and killed two men in self-defense during an altercation inside his house, according to police.

Dispatchers received a 911 call around 1 a.m. from someone at a home on Thuringer Street NW. The caller said shots had been fired, and officers found two men dead inside the home.

According to Palm Bay police, two men who had a mutual friend with the homeowner were loitering

Assuming that the shooter had good reason to do so and the stiffs are the bad guys this story brings a tear of joy to my eyes.

Any updates on this story? NW Palm Bay is not the problem NE Palm Bay ( into Melbourne ) continues to be. Right?

There is an update in the paper, the one that forbids posting stories and even links (name of the state and not yesterday or tomorrow but ___). The victims and perps were all white, in their 20’s, police not ready to rule it a home invasion but the dead perps did enter the house “aggressively.” Cops got a warrant and entered the house in hazmat gear so take from that what you will. Investigation is ongoing.

Also that the police were “familiar” with the ones who were shot.
