A perfect example of an officer (I use the term reluctantly) who leads from the rear...
Because if this one ever got out in front......Big mistake there...Huge mistake...
The officers I served with earned our respect, and the trust thing worked both ways...The chain of command, in my opinion was there to clarify and ambiguities, if there were any, and it didn’t happen very often, and no ones lives were ever at great risk either...
There would still be a few of them I would go to war with anyday...And the same would be true coming from their position...
This guy...Well...It would not surprise me in the slightest if he ever got into a little “trouble” that some might think long and hard about bailing him out of a sticky situation...
And that is really kinda sad...How he ever made it to LTC, it kinda makes you wonder...

The 2nd Amendment isn't about hunting.

Guns, except for the three approved categories, cannot be inherited. When you die your weapons must be turned into the local police department, which will then destroy them. Go Fck yourself, Bateman. My guns would be stolen.

Stevie, it's not all that difficult to attain that rank these days. Sadly, it's not that hard to fake your way to it, especially if you are one of the protected class. Rising through the ranks as an NCO is much more difficult, IMO. Always has been.
Good NCOS help make good commissioned officers. Young LTs and CPTS who have strong NCOs training them are the ones who tend to make great officers. I suspect this particular turd had good NCOs but ignored them in order to pursue a career of ass kissing (just a hunch).
