The person doing the picking has a deep seated psychological need to be the smartest one in the room.
Unfortunately, Valerie Jarret (may we call her Va-Jay for short, or is that too much of a wise crack?) isn’t exactly a rocket surgeon herself.
Va-Jay won’t pick anyone actually brilliant for any post.
