The spread of AIDS is due to two things:
1) Unprotected homo sex.

I dont know how old you are but back in the 1980s it was proven that condoms were NOT a protection against AIDS
There was no protection against AIDS back then and there still is not...
Only abstaining from anal sex etc
however there is still the chance of contaminated blood for transfusions..
I will always remember young Ryan White...
BTW in the 1980s several AIDS patients were hidden in the VA hospitals on the cancer wards to fool the public about the high numbers...
and they were not all veterans...
Condoms are only a partial protection against AIDS. I forget the exact numbers, but they work something like 80 or 90% of the time. The problem is, who wants to take a 10% chance that a sex act will destroy their lives?
There was a famous case when a bunch of liberal doctors were discussing free condoms for homos, or something of the sort, and a doctor got up and asked something like “Who in this room would want a thin piece of rubber between themselves and death?” That silenced them all.
There are also statistics that despite all the free condoms sent to Africa, the lowest AIDS rates are in a few African Catholic countries where they don’t allow UN condom distribution.
