File this under...duhhhhhhh. For many years leftist, social scientists spread the myth of the tabula rasa or blank slate theory. Under that theory, nobody is born with any innate intelligence...all intelligence is learned. Anybody can be a brain surgeon or a nuclear physicist. That theory would explain the differences in success among the world's peoples. The wealthy people, by sheer luck or fortune, got to the pile of already-created moolah first and denied it to the poor. (Read Jared Diamond's "Guns, Germs, and Steel" for the leftist version of why some have more than others.)
Except the blank slate theory has been thoroughly debunked for decades. There are innate, hard-wired differences in intelligence. Some people have more than others. That is upsetting to leftists who desperately want to believe the myth of the greedy Europeans who stole all the wealth from the poor and oppressed of the world. IQ correctly explains all the differences. The left simply can't accept that fact.
